Hi Sea Otters,

This week we’re sending a mini-Newsplash update via email. Please find a few important updates below.

Next Sunday, we’ll send out our Newsplash: CHAMPS Edition and ahead of that hope to have additional information on Champs volunteer shifts - as soon as we receive an update from Creekside.

🏊RESULTS - DUAL MEET #5 vs. Almaden
CONGRATULATIONS Sea Otters on our second dual meet WIN of the season. Final score: Sea Otters 263, Almaden 217. 💙💛

💵 RESTAURANT NIGHT - TONIGHT!
Support the Sea Otters at Bibo’s Pizza & Pasta (Santa Teresa & Snell). Simply mention the Santa Teresa Sea Otters when ordering, and a portion of your purchase will be donated to the team. Grab some teammates and share a pie (or two)! See attachment.

📅 ACTIVITIES

• Spot Otters Out of Water - Begins Wed, June 17!
• Thirty Otters are hidden throughout the Rancho Santa Teresa neighborhood! Each Otter is displayed on an 8.5”x11” sign in a door or window and can be spotted from the sidewalk.
Submit the location of each Otter - and what it is holding - to be entered in a prize drawing. Search with your Otter Buddy for an extra entry! The first person/team to correctly identify all 30 will be crowned our Top Otter Spotter!
Send locations or photos of Otter Buddies searching together to Emily by June 28 for drawing entry. Please see the attached graphic for scavenger hunt boundaries.
  You otter catch them all!
Please do not disturb the families hosting the Otters! All Otters will be visible from the sidewalk.
• Swim Up Movie Night - Thu, June 18 at 8:30pm
Float with your fellow Otters for a poolside showing of Finding Dory! Movie starts at 8:30pm and popcorn will be provided. See attachment.

• Trucker hats back in stock! Order your snap-back Sea Otters through our Square site and stay cool at Champs! Limited quantities available

• Champs Merch Sales: Swim caps and limited team apparel will be available for purchase at Champs. This is your last chance to grab Sea Otters swag this season! Look for merchandise lead Kelly Hodge.

• Online Orders: If you placed an online order and have not received your items, please contact [email protected] to arrange pick up.

💙💛 SHOUT OUT
A big thank you to Sameera Lingam and Ashvi Nambiar for donating $48 to the Sea Otters from their recent craft fair. Their generosity has purchased Sea Otter tattoos for all of our swimmers to enjoy at Champs!
